Surviving the quarantine with the Proaction Lab: Podcasts again!
Portugal started today the second phase of loosing the security measures put in place to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus and the COVID-19 pandemic. It seems that, slowly, things will start to get back to normal or the closest we can get to it. For that reason, this is the last post of the 'Surviving the Quarantine with the Proaction Lab' series we have scheduled for now. We sincerley hope we get no reason whatsoever to resume this series. For this last one, we have two podcasts you can listen anywhere, with or without a protective mask. Neuroscience is obviously the main focus.
Surviving the quarantine with the Proaction Lab: Optical Illusions and Youtube videos
Today we are bringing something different, that we haven't mentioned before. There is a page on the internet where you may get lost exploring tons of Optical Illusions. It would also be a failure if we didn’t mention one of the biggest YouTubers that talks about psychology and neuroscience. Do you know what we are talking about? Check our recommendations.
Surviving the quarantine with the Proaction Lab: Even more books
On this Wednesday we strike again and today we are going to talk about books one more time. If you are familiar with the name António Damásio, you are probably guessing what we will talk about. Also, we will suggest a graphic novel on how the brain works: if you are a fan of comics, we got something for you today!
Surviving the quarantine with the Proaction Lab: Brain Shows/Documentaries
We imagine the boredom that you are feeling right now with the social distance. Even if things start to go back to “normal” very slowly and gradually, 2020 is a completely different year, and all caution is necessary. You probably still have to spend a lot of time indoors since the coronavirus is not going away so soon. To ease the mood, but also learn something new, how about watching a few science shows?
