Proaction Lab hosts science cafe about the brain

What were the most fascinating scientific discoveries about the human brain in the past century? What questions is the neuroscientific community trying to answer today? And what would be the major breakthroughs in the future? This is the starting point of the science cafe Proaction Lab will be hosting on the 28th of November under the celebrations of the Science and Technology week 2019.

"The Brain: past, present and future" is the name of the event that will feature two neuroscience researchers: André Peres, a post-doctoral researcher at the Proaction Lab, working on information processing in the brain, and Ana Luísa Cardoso, an assistant researcher at the Centre for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, focused on cellular mechanisms and the Alzheimers' Disease.

The event, although scientific, is appropriate for anyone no matter its background. The goal is to allow an informal discussion about neuroscience where the "audience" may actively interact with the researchers. Check our facebook event here and make sure to book a seat. Meet us at Aqui Base Tango for a beer and a nice conversation.
